Our first partner for planting acreages and reforestation in Saxony-Anhalt. The LFB works in a coherence of economy and ecology. 12% of the forests of which the LFB is responsible for, are integral nature preserves. The LFB has the objective to develop 7% of the total forest area in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt as "natural forests", without any utilization.
Within our partnership, we will conduct projects that will have all sorts of characteritics and different conditions. On the one hand, we will help to reforest natural preserves and on the other we will turn monocultural areas into mixed forests, that are more apt to cope with the rapidly changing climate conditions. We will also help to get areas replanted that were hit by the storm Kyrill.
All the jointly planted areas will be used only ecologically and sustainably. This guarantees that these forests will be there forever.
